Terroirs

These Cuvées are the fruit of around twenty years of research, tastings, journeys and, above all, hard work: years spent selecting the most suitable areas within the Champagne region and then, more precisely, the highest quality vineyards within these areas but, to an even greater extent, as Champagne is a perfect marriage between mother nature and the human mind, which oenologists, visionary authentic, who support practically, this extreme selection and affix their signature on Cuvée.
Vallée de La Marne
The Vallée de la Marne is located southwest of Reims. The Marne is a river that flows from the Epernay area to Paris and its valley is dotted with vineyards and cozy villages. The presence of chalk in this area is substantial, especially between Hautvillers and Tour-sur-Marne. The most cultivated vine in the Vallée de la Marne is Pinot Meunier with its fruity bouquet (cherry and currant), light and fresh. Cuvée I, IV
Montagne de Reims
The Montagne De Reims, a promontory covered with forests and small woods, extends between the cities of Reims and Epernay and between the rivers Marne and Vesle characterized by the important presence of chalk in depth that serves as a water reservoir and drainage for the vineyards even in the hottest times of the year. The undisputed king of this area is Pinot Noir, present for about 60% of the vined area, which gives powerful champagnes that are structured and of great elegance and length. Cuvèe VIII - XII
Coteaux Sud d'Epernay
Between the Côte de Blancs and the south-east of the Vallée de la Marne there is a small and precious area called Coteaux Sud d'Epernay. In the past, this small portion of territory was not considered as a separate area, with peculiar characteristics, but as part of the Vallée de la Marne; today, thanks to an increasingly thorough study of the territory, this area has attracted the attention of enthusiasts for its multiplicity of soils, vines, exhibitions capable of bringing champagne with welcoming, generous, original and luminous notes.Cuvée III, X.
Cote des Blancs
The Côte des Blancs is located south of Epernay and extends for about 20 km enclosing about 13 villages. The Côte des Blancs is mainly cultivated with Chardonnay and it is here that this grape reaches its best expression with light and delicate aromas, finesse and elegance. The soil of the Côte des Blancs is rich in chalk and is visible a few tens of centimeters below the ground, covering over 65% of the cultivated areas. Cuvée II, VI, VII, XI, XIII
Cote des Bars
The Côte des Bar extends in the southernmost part of Champagne and the climate is milder. The soil is not chalky and there is clay and limestone. In the Côte des Bar the mainly cultivated grape variety is Pinot Noir. The presence of clay with its micro-organisms gives the Pinot Noir cultivated in the Côte des Bar great minerality compared to other areas of Champagne. Cuvée V, IX
